Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and update technical, functional, and operational documentation for SAP applications and related systems.
- Create high-quality documentation, including User Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Technical Guides, Installation Guides, and Training Materials.
- Document business processes, application workflows, system architecture, and process flows based on project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Consultants, SAP Technical/ABAP Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Produce and maintain project documentation throughout the software development lifecycle, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), SIT/UAT documentation, Deployment Guides, Cutover Plans, and Go-Live documentation.
- Develop process flow diagrams, UML diagrams, ERDs, BPMN diagrams, and other technical illustrations to support system documentation.
- Review, revise, and maintain documentation to reflect system enhancements, configuration changes, and new releases.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company documentation standards and is clear, accurate, and user-friendly.
- Organize and maintain a centralized knowledge base and document repository for project teams.
- All deliverables will be reviewed and supervised by the Project Lead or SAP Consultant.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, IT Documentation Specialist, System Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, or support projects is highly preferred.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of business process documentation, application procedures, system architecture, and workflow documentation.
- Familiar with Flowcharts, UML, BPMN, ERD, and other system modeling techniques.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and document quality.
- Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple documentation tasks simultaneously.
